Join our trustee board

We’re looking for professional and enthusiastic volunteers to join our board of trustees.

Dipex is a small charity that helps millions of people each year, mainly through our website healthtalk.org (which received 7million+ visits in 2018). Since 2001, healthtalk.org has done this by sharing real people’s health stories – collected by Oxford University researchers – on film and video. Our impact evaluations have shown consistently that patients and families feel better informed, equipped, and less alone after accessing our materials. The website is also used in teaching and training, across the world, for a wide variety of subject areas and professions.

We are at an exciting point in our development – increasing our research partners in the UK and around the world to offer a broader range of support in health and social care for the public. Our current staff team has been with us for 9 years and is highly motivated and experienced.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Trustee with a background in finance who can commit to meet in Oxford or London 3-4 times per year. The charity is currently stable financially, and we are in a position to scale up our operations over the coming years.
